But only because I went and over-insured everything I could...guys, make SURE you add your custom stuff to your policy!!! Even the obscure cheap things because it will make up for the items they WONT cover. Oh man, I'm ecstatic! I am a pessimist when it comes to things like this and it was all for naught. I went in needing around $3,400 to cover my stereo/panel/glass losses from the breakin. I walked out of there with $5,300! That will cover the losses INSIDE the car (Sony Camera, CDs, etc) just nicely and I should come out with about an extra $500 (actually $1,000 but the deductable is $500). Even though my dash already had some broken pieces on the inside (a few bolt locations were broken, but it all fit fine) there were two more tabs broken from the breakin. But STILL it wouldn't hurt the fitment...even so he put that replacement total plus labor on there! I didn't even ask for it (though I should have). That was $1,250 man! The guy was there at 8am sharp and happened to own a 240Z (didn't drive it there though). It wasn't all Z talk and such...we didn't "bond" or any crap like that, but he digged the car and noticed the custom stuff I did to it (too many people think the interior came like that...or the body kit came on the car). He was totally cool. I didn't even have to argue a single point. Showed him pics of things and he just wrote them down. Bam! To those of you that emailed me or posted tips, thanks MUCHO again! I'll be back to where I was without any cost out of pocket and sporting some beefed up security items. As for the NOS...that's still at least a month away since I'm doing the tranny this month, but it's back on the slate again :) Sweet...off to drop the car at Gregs!
